Do supervising adults need to buy a ticket?

Anyone participating in the activity will need to purchase a ticket.

Some of our activities do require adult supervision on the course for some age groups.

Depending on the age of the children you are supervising, you may be able to supervise from the ground if you prefer. In this case, you would not need to purchase a ticket.

Supervision requirements can be found in the Notes sections on each activity page.

Where can I sign my waiver?

Once you have made your booking you will be sent an email with a personalised link to sign your online waiver. If somebody else booked for you, please ask them to pass along the link.

Every participant must complete a waiver. Children under the age of 18 years must have their waiver completed by an adult aged 18 or over who will remain present on site throughout their activity. In some cases that adult must also participate in the activity, depending on the age of the child.

Please make sure that your online waiver is completed before arrival for a smoother check-in.

What should I wear?

We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather - bring along a waterproof layer if the forecast is for rain.

You will need to wear shoes that cover your toe and heel, and that can’t fall off easily. Sandals, flip flops, Crocs or high heeled shoes are not permitted on any of our activities.

Your stomach area will need to be covered to prevent the harness rubbing, and long hair must be tied back so it doesn't get tangled in the equipment.

For our High Trek courses, we recommend you wear gloves for comfort.

What happens in bad weather?

Adventures can be a great wet weather activity!

As long as you’re appropriately dressed for the weather, you should still have great memories of your experience.

Our activities remain open in all weathers, except thick ice, thunderstorms and strong winds.

If we have to close due to unsafe weather conditions, we will offer you a refund, credit note or reschedule your booking for you.

If unsafe weather is forecast, we will aim to make the decision as early as possible and will do our best to contact you to try and save you a wasted journey.

How do I book?

You can book online.

If you need additional support or are booking for a large group, email the team at Adventures@nottscc.gov.uk

Pre-booking is recommended.

How long does each activity take?

High Trek / High Trek Plus can take from 30 to 90 minutes.

Zip Line Experience can take from 15 to 60 minutes depending on group size.

The Drop can take up to 45 minutes depending on group size.

Net Park bookings are for a 45 minute session.

What are the supervision and participant restrictions?

Supervision rules and participant restrictions vary depending on the adventure you choose.

Check out the Notes sections on each activity page for more information.

Can I keep stuff in my pockets?

We wouldn't recommend it!

Due to the nature of our activities, we recommend pockets are emptied to prevent the risk of items being dropped or lost whilst on your adventure.

Can I take a bag on the activities?

No bags are allowed on act of our activites.

Any form of bag could get caught in equipment or tangled in your harness, increasing your risk of injury.

If you need to carry any medication with you, please let a member of staff know and they will provide you with a pouch that can be safely attached to your harness.

Lockers are available for small items while you're on your adventure.

When do I need to arrive?

Please arrive at the Adventures check in window 15 minutes before your booked start time.

We ask that you please allow plenty of time to park your car and get to us.

Note, while we are card only, our parking facilities still accept cash as well as pay by phone options.

Can spectators watch and take photos?

Yes, absolutely!

Those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on the ground are very welcome to spectate and take photos.

We’d love for you to share your snaps with us too! Remember to tag us using @AdventuresNotts or #AdventuresNotts.
